Shield Your Paint From the Road
Premium Paint Protection Film in Peoria, IL
A Physical Barrier Against Road Debris
Paint Protection Film, often shortened to PPF, is a urethane film applied directly to your vehicle's paint to guard against rock chips, road debris, and light abrasions. Unlike ceramic coating, which bonds to the clear coat itself, paint protection film adds an actual physical layer between the road and your paint.
Central Illinois Leader in Paint Protection Film
At Detail Peoria, we install paint protection film in Peoria, IL, available in a clear gloss finish or a matte finish for owners who want a different look along with the same coverage. The film is self healing against light swirl marks as well, so minor scuffs from washing tend to disappear on their own with a bit of warmth from the sun or a heat gun. It is one of the most effective ways to keep a newer vehicle's paint looking factory fresh for years to come, especially through Peoria's construction seasons and long highway commutes.

From Bumper to Full Body
Our Paint Protection Film Packages
We offer four coverage levels, from a partial front installation that protects the most exposed panels up to a full body wrap that covers the entire vehicle. Each package builds on the one before it, so you can start with the coverage that fits your budget today and add more later if you decide you want it.
Where Most Owners Start
Partial Front
Starting at $1,700
Available in clear film
Partial Front coverage is our entry point into paint protection film, built for owners who want a meaningful layer of protection on the areas that take the brunt of daily driving. It focuses on the bumper and leading edge of the hood and fenders, the parts of the vehicle most exposed to rock chips and road debris from following traffic. This package includes a decontamination wash beforehand and is completed in about 1 day, making it an easy way to add protection without a lengthy shop visit.
Areas of Coverage Include:
- Front bumper
- Partial hood
- Partial front fenders
- Headlights
- Fog lights

Complete Front End Coverage
Full Front
Starting at $2,640
Full Front coverage builds on our Partial Front package by extending protection across the entire hood and mirrors, giving the front of your vehicle complete coverage rather than just the leading edges. It is available in clear or matte, so you can add protection and change the look of your vehicle at the same time if you choose. This package includes a decontamination wash beforehand and is completed in about 2 days.

The Drivers Package extends coverage beyond the front end to include the rocker panels and rear fenders on the driver's side, along with the A-pillars and roof strip, areas that take a surprising amount of debris on the highway. It is available in clear or matte film to match the rest of your paint protection film. This package includes a decontamination wash beforehand and is completed in about 2 to 3 days.

Available in clear or matte film
Our Full Body package wraps the entire exterior of your vehicle in paint protection film, giving every panel the same level of coverage as our most requested individual packages. This is the option most owners choose when they want complete peace of mind before a long road trip, a daily highway commute, or simply want the vehicle to stay chip-free for years to come. Every Full Body installation includes a full decontamination wash beforehand and typically takes about 4 to 5 days to complete.
Change Up the Look
Matte Paint Protection Film
Convert the Whole Vehicle
Full Body, Matte

Our Full Body matte package covers the entire vehicle, whether you already own a matte factory finish or want to convert a glossy vehicle to a matte look. Matte film requires the same care as our Full Front matte package, and we will walk you through the right products to use once your installation is complete. Contact us to discuss your vehicle and get an accurate quote.

A Different Look, Full Coverage
Full Front, Matte or Satin
Starting at $2,640
Full Front Matte or Satin gives your vehicle a different finish across the bumper, hood, and front fenders while adding the same protective layer as our clear film. We offer this finish on vehicles that already have a matte or satin factory paint, and it also works well as part of a full body conversion if you want the whole vehicle to match. Matte film requires a slightly different care routine than gloss, since certain waxes and sealants can leave a shine behind that dulls over time, and we will walk you through the right products to use once your installation is complete. This package includes a decontamination wash beforehand and is completed within a similar timeframe to our clear Full Front package.
Areas of Coverage Include:
- Front bumper
- Full hood
- Full front fenders
Add-On Services

Windshield Protection Film
Starting at $630
If rock chips on the windshield are your main concern, our windshield protection film coverage extends the same kind of protection to the glass you look through every day. It installs as a single, optically clear layer and can be added to any of the packages above during the same appointment.
Complete Front End Protection
Many Peoria clients pair paint protection film on the front of the vehicle with a full ceramic coating application on the rest of the paint, giving the whole vehicle a consistent look while reserving film for the highest impact areas. This combination is one of the most requested builds we put together, since it balances strong protection with a reasonable overall investment.
Our signature package bundles both services together at a set investment if you want this combination from the start, rather than booking film and coating as two separate appointments. It also includes a full interior and exterior detail, so the whole vehicle is addressed in one build.
Whichever route you take, we can walk you through the tradeoffs between building your own combination of services or starting with a bundled package, so you end up with the coverage that actually fits your vehicle and budget. There is no wrong answer here, just different starting points depending on how much you already know about what you want going in.
Precision Panel Cuts
Film is cut to match each panel closely, avoiding the visible edges that come with generic pre-cut kits.
Decontamination First
Every installation starts with a wash to remove contaminants that could otherwise trap dirt under the film.
Warranty Backed
Paint protection film is backed by a manufacturer warranty, giving you documented coverage after installation.
Common Questions
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between the Partial Front and Full Front packages?
The Full Front package adds full hood coverage and mirror coverage on top of everything included in the Partial Front package, along with the option of a matte finish. Most owners upgrade to Full Front when they want a cleaner, more complete look across the entire front end rather than just the leading edges. It is also a common upgrade for anyone who drives a lot of highway miles and wants broader coverage from the start.
Can I get matte paint protection film on a glossy vehicle?
Our Full Body matte package can convert a glossy vehicle to a matte finish. The Full Front matte package is best suited to vehicles that already have a matte factory finish.
How long does paint protection film installation take?
Turnaround runs from about 1 day for the Partial Front package up to 4 to 5 days for a Full Body installation, depending on the size of the vehicle and the package chosen. Larger vehicles and matte finish can sometimes add a bit of extra time to the process.
Does paint protection film include a wash beforehand?
Every package includes a decontamination wash before installation to make sure the film bonds to clean paint.
Can I combine paint protection film with ceramic coating?
Many clients apply paint protection film to the front of the vehicle and ceramic coating to the rest of the paint. Ask us about our Signature Package, which bundles both services together.
Will the film yellow over time?
Paint protection film is designed to resist yellowing far better than older film technologies, though like any film it will need eventual replacement after many years of sun exposure. Most installations still look clear and glossy well past the point where older films would have started to yellow.
