What is Paint Correction?
Paint correction is an auto detailing procedure that removes hazing, minor scratches, marring, swirl marks, and other blemishes on the vehicle's clear coat. It does this by using specialized machines and polishing compounds to slowly remove microscopic layers of clear coat until the surface is smooth again.
When Should I do Paint Correction?
1. If you are applying a Ceramic Coating or PPF (Paint Protection Film) It’s standard practice to polish or paint correct the exterior of the vehicle before install. Ceramic Coatings and PPF are the best ways to protect your vehicle. Having the vehicle look perfect and brand new is a must and will do wonders in making the vehicle look great while being protected.
2. If your vehicle has swirls/scratched or has a lack of luster then paint correction can make it look brand new again.
Is Paint Correction worth it?
Yes. Paint Correction is the process of sanding down the clear coat of your vehicle to create a smooth perfect finish leaving the car looking new. Doing this may lead to avoiding corrosion, rust and decontamination. All in an effort to make your car look newer, longer.
*We recommend having a Ceramic Coating installed to protect the correction.
What makes Paint Correction Expensive?
One of the biggest contributing factors of Paint Correction’s price tag is the time and skill. The amount of time it takes to do a good 2-step correction can be up to 4-5 days. The skill and experience it takes to measure paint, know how much pressure to apply in cutting, what kind of cutting compounds to use are all contributions to the price tag.

1-Step
Includes: Deep cleaning and decontamination of exterior including clay bar if needed. This service will enhance gloss, brighten up the look of the paint and clean up light surface marring.
Excludes:
*Does not provide touch-up paint*
Recommended for vehicles that are free of swirls and scratches but looking to maximize gloss, or for vehicle owners who are not concerned with paint correction.
2-step
Includes: Deep cleaning and decontamination of exterior including clay bar, fallout removal, and light tar removal. Paint thickness readings taken. One step paint correction takes up to 65%-75% of imperfections out.
Excludes:
*Does not provide touch-up paint*
Recommended for vehicles that have swirl marks, without many heavier scratches. A great option for daily driven vehicles.
3-step
Includes: Deep cleaning and decontamination of exterior including clay bar, fallout removal, and tar removal. Paint thickness readings taken. Two step paint correction takes up to 80%-95% of imperfections out.
Excludes:
*Does not provide touch-up paint*
Recommended for vehicles with moderate swirl marks and few deeper scratches. Perfect for vehicle owners seeking a great transformation.
